Literacy Lift Off

May 26, 2021
Currently our two first classes are engaging with this intensive programme of reading with the help of our Special Education team. 📖 The classes are split into small groups, and each group is designated a teacher. 👩‍🏫
It gives the pupils amazing opportunities to read books at their own level of competency and helps develop comprehension, fluency and word identification skills in small group settings. 📚 We are lucky here in Powerstown National School to have a full set of graded PM+ readers to implement this scheme fully in all of our junior classes!
